Balmoral Resort Selects New General Manager

Press Release: HAINES CITY, FL (08/14/2019) – Balmoral Resort Florida, a Feltrim Resort property, announced today the promotion of Shemil Bailey to General Manager. Her primary responsibility is to effectively lead and manage all aspects of the resort operation.

“I met Shemil over two years ago and was extremely impressed with her knowledge of the hospitality business combined with vacation home rentals, which has proven very hard to find. Two years later she accepted the challenge to take Balmoral Resort to another level and my desire to further improve our resort, making it a true horizontal hotel. It was a natural fit for her to lead Balmoral. I’m very proud to have her steering the Balmoral ship for Feltrim Group going forward.” said Garrett Kenny, CEO of Feltrim Group.

Bailey joined the company in 2018 as Director of Sales and quickly rose to oversee all resort operations. She moved to Haines City in 1996 and has been in the hospitality industry for 18 years, with positions ranging from front desk agent to sales coordinator at various hotels, timeshare, and vacation homes companies in the Central Florida area. Shemil is also a member of the Tourist Development Council for Polk County.

Balmoral Resort Florida (www.balmoralresortflorida.com) is a vacation home resort, consisting of 220 mostly single-family homes with luxury resort amenities. The resort is owned and operated by Feltrim Group, a Central Florida residential and commercial developer.
